One of the most underrated spots for a sweeping view of the city. Especially gorgeous at sunset. Plus it’s never really crowded.

Such an amazing park for grand views of the city. Some of the trail can get pretty rocky with sheer drop offs but just take the high ones. This park is beautiful for watching the fog roll over the city in the evening or looking at spring flowers in the morning. Really anytime is the right time here. Also you can take your time or make it a quick trip. Five dog tails up!

Went for an early-morning walk on a foggy morning. Was very peaceful up there, watching the city wake up and gradually get busier and busier. Had the swing all to myself as well :) On the way back down Google Maps recommended some adventurous route through over-grown lanes. Loved it, but was not expecting the steep muddy slopes :)

One of the very best places to take your dog off leash in the city. Just be careful of foxtails during the spring and summer months! There's even a drinking fountain for thirsty humans and pups.
